In September 2015, Milad Hospital's maternity hospital started its activity with prominent obstetricians and gynecologists in Isfahan province. This center was introduced as the first LDR center in Isfahan . In this section, dear mothers will go through the pre-labor, delivery and post-delivery stages in their own room with the baby and her husband. The two LDR rooms in Labor have a tub for giving birth in water, which can be used according to special conditions (according to the doctor's instructions). Each LDR room is equipped with vital signs monitoring, medicine and equipment related to mother and infant. Painless delivery (epidural delivery, spinal delivery - Entonox gas - drug analgesia) will be performed through different methods according to the patient’s request and the doctor’s order.
About 90% of births performed in Milad hospital are performed with midwives who are contracted with two midwifery companies, Rooyesh and Saida, who are responsible for things such as , massage, exercise therapy، Aromatherapy, as well as training to the spouses during the midwifery delivery process. Preparation classes for childbirth will be held two days a week, (on Mondays and Thursdays), during which spouses will also be trained, and a card will be issued for them to attend labor during childbirth, and tours of the maternity hospital will be conducted by these two centers after registration. The name will be formed as a group on a monthly basis. Other physical facilities of this department include an admit for admiting all outpatient mothers, cesarean section, natural delivery, cerclage, examination room, as well as a space for high-risk pregnant mothers and the emergency room to be monitored under the name of high-risk department. In 2018, this department was recognized as a child-friendly center and was awarded a child-friendly plaque, and in 2019, it was introduced as a model department of the hospital by receiving the highest credit in the accreditation level of the hospital.
